“Hi, I’m Joseph Ratigan and I’m a graphic designer/illustrator in the Chicago area. I live in Portage Indiana and I’ve always held an interest in the weird/quirky styles of cartoons and illustrations. Most of my work is done in Adobe Illustrator CS5. I have strong knowledge in Photoshop CS5 as well, and I enjoy sitting in front of my computer and creating Flash animations and clips. My style resembles that of vintage cartoons and illustrations, but I like to use as much color as possible. I try to diversify myself as much as possible from the competition so as to set myself apart. I believe the design/illustration world needs more variation, and that’s where I come in. I offer a different view from the competition and I bring new options to the table. I specialize in character design, illustration, logo/identity work and single color screenprinted tees.
